Privacy Policy
The short version
NEON does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs that gather information. Your game progress is saved only on your own device, and the game works fully offline.
Who we are
This policy covers the NEON: Arcade Pixel Shooter app for iPhone (“NEON”, “the app”) and these pages. NEON is made and published by Computronium LLC, and “we” and “us” mean Computronium LLC. You can reach us at the address in the Contact section below.
Information the app collects
None. The app does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or any other personal information, and it does not create a user account.
- No analytics or crash reporting services are built into the app.
- No advertising, no ad identifiers and no cross-app tracking. The app does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt because it never tracks you.
- No network requests to us or anyone else. Everything the game needs, including its sounds and fonts, ships inside the app.
- No in-app purchases. Bits, the in-game currency, are earned by playing and have no real-money value.
Game data stored on your device
To remember your progress, the app saves a small amount of game data locally on your iPhone: your unlocked spikes and mods, levels, loadout, Bits balance, best stars per sector, your run history and high scores, settings, and an in-progress run so you can continue after closing the app.
- This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
- It is not linked to your identity.
- Deleting the app deletes this data permanently. It may also be included in your own iCloud or computer backups of your device, which are governed by Apple’s terms, not ours.
Device features
The app uses your iPhone’s haptic engine for vibration feedback and listens for the app moving to the background so it can pause and save your run. Neither involves collecting or transmitting any information.
Children
NEON is suitable for a general audience. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country).
These pages
These pages use no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts, and they load no third-party content: the fonts are served from this domain alongside the pages themselves. They are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the pages and protect against abuse; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We do not receive or keep that information.
If you email us
If you contact support, we receive the email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to fix the problem you report, we do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not share it with anyone. Ask us and we will delete your messages.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you from the app, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. You stay in full control of the game data on your device, and you can remove all of it by deleting the app. If you live somewhere that gives you additional privacy rights (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you can contact us at any time about them.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts handling personal information differently, for example by adding an online leaderboard, we will update this page and its effective date before that change ships.
